Working on Tamiya’s 1/35 ‘Enigma’ Tank

Straight from my workbench, here’s what I’ve been up to during the last week along with some other model kits. Also, I did hit a bump with a replacement part from a Hobby Boss kit. Along I’m sharing a set of work in progress pictures from the Russian T-55 Tank disguised as an ‘Enigma’ Tank from the Iraqi ground forces. I have plenty of sub-assemblies around and I’m currently planning a weathering strategy. As you can see, the lower hull has been weathered already.

Alert!
You can see this Tamiya 1/35 ”Enigma” Tank finished after this link.

Colors and Weathering:
The base color used to paint this Enigma T-55 was off-the-shelf  Testors Model Master Acryl Army/Marines Gulf War 1/2 (4812). Tamiya NATO Black for the rubber parts and Vallejo 70.862 Black Gray for the paint chipping and scuff marks effect. Tamiya Weathering Set ‘B’.  Washes and streaking effects with AK Interactive Products. Painted and detailed with an Aztek A470 plastic body airbrush.
