Another year, another bundle of new aftermarket sets for your Bandai Star Wars model kits from our friends at Green Strawberry. The following photo-etch sets from Green Strawberry could be -depending on the subject- photo-etch or multi-media sets which include resin parts.
I was impressed at how quick the team developed a vacuformed canopy for the long-awaited Bandai 1/72 B-Wing Starfighter vC-01.  We didn’t have at the time of this entry a B-Wing Fighter for comparison pictures of the canopy.
Our several requests to Bluefin have gone unanswered without at least a ”not at this moment” out of courtesy.
But we did a commission build of a B-Wing I can assure you that this upgrade should you wish to display your Bandai B-Wing Fighter with the glaze on, is a great improvement over the one offered with the kit. To be clear [no pun intended], the stock one is not bad. But if you want something very transparent and in-scale with your model kit, this vacuformed canopy is a must for you.
Make sure to simplify your life, so when you order you can add to your cart the Mask Set for the 1/72 B-Wing Canopy AM017-1/72.
Also for your Bandai 1/72 B-Wing Fighter, Green Strawberry is offering a beautiful photo-etch set to super detail your B-Wing. I for one use the basics from photo-etch sets. But I love the fact of having different parts at my disposal and very sure that many model kit builders will welcome all those parts on the fret.
Want to use your clear glaze on your 1/72 Perfect Grade Millenium Falcon? Any errors on the glaze will be on you because this set AM016-1/72 is die-cut and fits like a glove on the Bandai Millenium Falcon. These mask sets weight next to nothing so adding them to your order will not add up a lot to your shipping charges and will safe you big time.
I have seen Green Strawberry since almost they were born. So I know they really do have a passion for improving many popular sci-fi model kit subjects. Remember when I built the Moebius Batmobile from Batman vs Superman? Yes, Green strawberry did a very nice transkit for it. Below we have their set 04318–1/32. This photo-etch set is for the Moebius Colonial Raptor and it features parts for the ”armament”.
Remember when Green Strawberry launched the set for the Revell/Zvezda 1/2700 Star Destroyer featuring resin engine bells and photo-etch? Now if you don’t have the funds for that set or simply you’re OK with the stock parts, now we have a second cheaper option which features the engine bell flaps for the 1/2700 tar Destroyer kit 05518-1/2700.
I can assure you that more great items are being developed by the team at Green Strawberry. Keep your eyes open for many other items in the pipeline.
