Greenstrawberry Photo-Etch set for Bandai Mini Star Destroyer 001

Just one you thought there was no room for improvement to its size, along comes the folks at Green Strawberry to define more details on this little gem from Bandai. Kit 001.

If you have put together one of these little Bandai’s Star Destroyers mini kits 001, then you know the crisp detail from the ”Honey I shrunk Vader’s Star Destroyer” kit. This small yet well-thought photo-etch fret does come with the lovely engine flaps visible on the Star Destroyer featured on the memorable Star Wars, A NEW HOPE opening scene.

No brass goes to waste is something I noticed from Green Strawberry all these years. The set comes with an elegant etched plaque that fits perfectly on the tiny base provided with the model kit. Painted or unpainted on your base you can’t go wrong either way. Part #5 from the fret is the famous ”claw” under the Star Destroyer. Part #3 goes on the tower’s neck and helps to cover up the tiny yet slightly visible joint line.
