Long after the fires of WWIV burned out the planet, the heavy boots of war still stir the ashes. The power-armored legions of the Strahl Demokratische Republik stride across the land, enforcing order with servo-assisted fists. Against them are arrayed the mercenaries and defectors of the IMA, fighting for their homes and their freedom. The future knows only war and only the dead have seen the end of it.
Yet another exciting release in the USA. This is the P.K.A. Ausf.G GUSTAV, a double kit in one box from Hasegawa. It is simply comprised of 2 of each sprue for a total of 6 with 2 of them being clear. These are smaller versions of the Hasegawa 1/20 Robot Battle V Maschin Krieger 44 Type MK44 LE type robots. In fact, if you notice on the decal sheet picture below, you will notice that they are scaled @ 1/20. The truth is that it doesn’t matter that much because one thing is for sure with these model kits; they lend themselves for lots of artistic license.
They are 1/35 scale meaning that they will go like bread and butter with the Hasegawa 1/35 Nutcracker Maschinen Krieger Kit 64111 built back in our studio during the Summer.
They are smaller than their 1/20 counterparts but still pack a lot of detail. This is an excellent set to enter the mecha world. For the price of less than half of the 1/20 you will get 2 kits and the weathering possibilities are endless. We have our A.MIG 7429 ready for this one.
