LEDs for model kits without batteries or cables?

You read that right.
Jeff Teff from X-CROSS BASE wrote in himself to say:

Hello Model Kits Review,

We wanted to get in touch with you because we are currently running a Kickstarter for a wireless LED lighting and display stand built for plastic models and figures, and hoped you may find interest and relevance in our product.

The X-base display stand is wireless power supply akin to a wireless phone charger that lights up LEDs for decorating models and figures. The LEDs are wireless and waterproof, making model lighting modifications accessible to everyone.

From their Kickstarter page:

Through the exclusive X-base magnetic field resonance system, the X-base Power Station supplies power to the specially designed wireless LED lights. When the X-base Power Station is turned on, the X-base LEDs automatically light up when they are placed within the power supply field.

  1. I wish you every success – introduction of this technology would be really welcome in the model Christmas Village community where we use a lot of LEDs in lighting accessories, and the time saving and neatness achievable with wireless LED lighting would make things so much neater and easier. Good Luck!
