David Doyle is a well-known author for plastic modelers thanks to his prolific releases of many subjects for various publishers. The reason is that the books are heavy on photo content with a nicely written potted history.
This one is no exception with only over photos in one hundred sixty-eight pages.
Aside from historical photos, many of the images re of restored vehicles and taken of details which a modeler would need to detail out a kit. Sadly, the Weasel is a subject not well represented with modern tooling for plastic modelers.
There are only three chapters but the text is informative and the photos do support the chapters. Chapter One is on the T15/M24. Including the large images, there are 34 pages to this section. Chapter Two, on the T24/M29, is thirty-three pages. The last chapter is on the M29C and consists of Seventy Seven pages! Obviously, with David’s private collection, it is the main focus. The last three pages are the Appendix which includes various tables of data.
An excellent addition to my library and I can only hope a polystyrene plastic model manufacturer will tackle the subject.
