How to add fiber optics to your plastic model kits

I have been meaning to either write about adding fiber optics to your model kits or make a video about it. While I’ve been procrastinating all this time, The folks at Interstellar Models beat me to the punch with this cool video. Here, they address those questions you might have regarding adding fiber optics to your models.

The truth is that adding fiber optics can be done by pretty much every model builder. Besides the required materials, the most important part of this job is *determination*. It might be a repetitive task drilling holes. But the end result is worth is self-rewarding.

  1. I used to do this as a kid. Was pretty good at it to. Now I can’t find the lighting kit I want to use please give me a link or 10, so I can start up again. Thanks
