PM Models 1/72 Messerschmitt Me P-1111 Plastic Model Kit

The innovative design of the Me P.1111 was completed in January 1945 and was intended as an improvement to the Messerschmitt P.1110 Ente.

1/72 Messerschmitt Me P-1111 PM MODEL

The Messerschmitt P-1111 was an 8.92 m long tailless airplane with nearly delta-shaped wings, swept back at a 45-degree angle, and a wingspan of 9.12 m. It was equipped with a pressurized cockpit for a single pilot. The planned powerplant was a Heinkel HeS 011 turbojet engine, and armament was to be four 30 mm MK 108 cannon. Only one wooden model was built. The project was later further developed into the Me P-1112.

Here we go today with a follow up of our entry posted yesterday about the 1/72 PM Model FOCKE WULF Ta-183. To be honest, writing about this model kit would be pretty much a carbon copy of the Ta-183. The overall quality, rarity, and popularity of the PM Model 1/72 Messerschmitt Me P-1111 run parallel to one another.

The amount of parts is about the same. It is also molded in light gray and clear canopy. The cockpit is as bare as the aforementioned model kit. Pretty much the same Lichtblau RAL 76 from Mission Models Paints MMP-051 was used as a base color on the entire model followed by the same Resedagrun RAL 6011 also from Mission Models Paints MMP-018 and Grunbraun RAL 8000 (MMP-017).
