This is the new Batmobile for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. It is designed by Patrick Tatopoulos. It is build by Dennis McCarthy. It’s 20 feet long, it’s 12 feet wide in the back. It’s got some new features we’ve never seen on a Batmobile before. Like that Gatling guns just sitting on the front of the Batmobile. Another one of the new features that we don’t see in other Batmobiles is the fact that it raises for scenes where it’s going into battle. Or it’s lower to the ground when it’s just cruising through the streets. It’s more aerodynamic. So it’s a whole new hydraulic system.”

We recently received in our studio the new Moebius Batman vs Superman [DoJ] Batmobile. The Batman vs Superman Batmobile is the standard 1/25 scale but boy this Batmobile for its scale is one husky model. The tractor sized tire adds more drama to its size. Most of the parts comprising this kit are very well and cleanly molded. They are for the most part large parts but no detail is loss as a result.
This model kit of the new iteration of the famous Batmobile was produced following digital files from the motion picture production design team. But upon careful inspection, some minor mid-body details -between front and rear fenders- from the real prop has been faithfully recreated by Moebius. The injection gates are very fine as I would expect from Moebius quality.
I can’t wait to tackle this project as I am personally working on their new Moebius 1965 Plymouth Belvedere I and half a dozen models more. There is a transkit in the works for this model from our friends at Green Strawberry so I will most likely wait for it to give it some more TLC to this already excellent model. For now enjoy the pictures below.
