Bandai continue to expand his 1/72 scale line of Star Wars Ships, this time brings us the long awaited Tie Interceptor. The kit include the pilot that can be pose as open or close cabin, decals, laser shots, and a stand. History of the Tie Interceptor* This particular fighter was the direct result of advancements developed for Darth Vader's TIE Advanced x1 Prototype. Faster, more maneuverable, and far more lethal than the standard TIE/LN Fighter. The Interceptor used
A few days ago I've got mail call. It was a box from the far East with half of the top covered in stamps and a customs slip. Finally, my 1/144 Millenium Falcon from Star Wars TFA had arrived. So far I had only seen it in pictures from a few sources. Let me tell you, by now you may have heard a lot of hype about the little gems from Bandai. The hype is
Captain Phasma's name is derived from the 1979 horror film Phantasm; Phasma's chrome armor reminded J.J. Abrams of the film's antagonist, a murderous silver sphere. Phasma was first revealed in the second teaser trailer for Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens on April 16, 2015. On May 4, 2015, it was confirmed that Phasma will be portrayed by Gwendoline Christie. Phasma I named because of the amazing chrome design that came from Michael Kaplan’s wardrobe
A legendary starship despite its humble origins and deceptively shabby exterior, the Millennium Falcon has played a role in some of the Rebel Alliance's greatest victories over the Empire. On the surface, the Falcon looks like a worn down junker. Beneath its hull, however, she packs many powerful secrets. Its owners have made "special modifications" on the freighter throughout the years, boosting its speed, shielding, and performance to impressive -- and downright illegal -- levels.
This is not a model kit related entry nor I believe it will be the last. With every day getting us closer to Star Wars the Force Awakens, it is hard to resist to the latest droid addition to the Star Wars universe. I'm talking about the sought after BB-8 droid and this is remote controlled. As you can see from the picture of the box, this little fella is Target Exclusive offering here in
Hey folks, here is a current side project I'm working on. Here is the Millenium Falcon from MPC. I'm adding some tiny pieces from my spare box. As some of you might know, the side walls on this kit are too thick and they will be replaced for stock styrene instead. As the story goes, the Millenium Falcon has been heavily modified by Captain Solo. This will be my humble version of the Millenium Falcon
The Millennium Falcon is one of the fastest, best-equipped ships in the "Star Wars" universe. While it doesn't look like much on the outside, the ship's hyperdrive technology allows the Falcon to fly twice as fast as an Imperial Star Cruiser (with a little help from Han Solo and Chewbacca's piloting). Heavy armor and an Imperial ship-seeking sensor bank help protect the Falcon from enemy damage, as do twin quad laser cannons and twin disruptors.
The Tydirium was a Sienar Fleet Systems Imperial Lambda-class shuttle, which operated as a courier and a transport in the Prefsbelt system. It was later present at Outpost 327 over Zhar, where it was captured by General Crix Madine of the Alliance to Restore the Republic. Madine hoped to use the shuttle and the clearance codes it carried to have a strike team infiltrate the Forest Moon of Endor, around which orbited a new Imperial battlestation, the second Death Star. The strike team would then, if all went as planned, deactivate the deflector shield protecting the still-under-construction Death Star. MPC
A heavily armoured transport and passenger shuttle of the Lambda class with three wings and seating for up to 20 soldiers. Shuttles of the Lambda class, due to their fire-power and hyperdrive, are preferred by the imperial officers, including the Emperor himself. The troops of Han Solo have used this ship, the Tydirium, in order to sneak past the imperial forces encircling the forest moon Endor. Shuttles of the Lambda class are designed to carry
Well, not exactly a model kit, but one of my personal toy conversions and this time I present you General Grievous star ship from Hasbro. Many toys from Hasbro are coming with a descent amount of details at least on the hull. Have in mind that these are just toys so look at them accordingly. But I've seen beautiful conversions on many Star Wars and Star Treks toys. So a little while ago I decided
The V-19 Torrent manufactured by Slayn & Korpi is an assault fighter with exceptional speed and maneuverability. Widely used by the Republic during the Clone Wars, the V-19 was unique in that it had folding airfoils that gave the ship added maneuverability and was armed with two blaster cannons and two concussion missile launchers. Among many of the Star Wars universe of vehicles, the V-19 Torrent Starfighter is one of my favorites. The new Revell Snap-Tite
Also known as a "chicken walker" because of its shape and walking motion, the AT-ST was a heavily armed light ground combat vehicle, and able to trek various environments. It was equipped with a chin-mounted double medium blaster cannon, a concussion grenade launcher on the starboard side of its head, 2 durasteel feet with claws, and a blaster cannon on the port side. It was designed to be a recon hit and run vehicle. It
