Zvezda / Revell 1/2700 Star Destroyer

I must have been around 7 years old when my father first came home with a fun hobby to pass the time. It was big model kit of a 747 jet. That night we stayed up late as we slowly put it together. No paint, just the gray color the model came in and globs of glue everywhere. It didn’t matter we both loved it and had a lot fun putting it together. That would

Ron Howard reshot Han Solo’s entire movie

Ron Howard’s work on Solo: A Star Wars Story reportedly involved reshooting just about the entire film, which may have doubled the tentpole’s budget. Over the summer, Lucasfilm shocked the entertainment industry when they fired original Solo directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller (who were hired in 2015) after four months of filming due to creative differences. Shortly after, they hired Oscar-winner Howard to see the project across the finish line, and he’s been the

Final Season of Star Wars Rebels with Dave Filoni

After Disney bought Lucasfilm, the first new part of the Star Wars saga they produced was Star Wars Rebels. Early on the show defined what the franchise’s new canon would and could become in a post-George Lucas world. But now, just as the movies are getting ready for their second act, Rebels is ready for its final one. For its first three seasons, executive producer Dave Filoni and his team have told the story of Ezra

Bandai 1/144 Millenium Falcon Preview

A few days ago I've got mail call. It was a box from the far East with half of the top covered in stamps and a customs slip. Finally, my 1/144 Millenium Falcon from Star Wars TFA had arrived. So far I had only seen it in pictures from a few sources. Let me tell you, by now you may have heard a lot of hype about the little gems from Bandai. The hype is

Customized 6” Black Series Captain Phasma

Captain Phasma's name is derived from the 1979 horror film Phantasm; Phasma's chrome armor reminded J.J. Abrams of the film's antagonist, a murderous silver sphere. Phasma was first revealed in the second teaser trailer for Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens on April 16, 2015. On May 4, 2015, it was confirmed that Phasma will be portrayed by Gwendoline Christie. Phasma I named because of the amazing chrome design that came from Michael Kaplan’s wardrobe

Build & Play Millenium Falcon from Revell

The Force Awaken Millenium Falcon from Revell

A legendary starship despite its humble origins and deceptively shabby exterior, the Millennium Falcon has played a role in some of the Rebel Alliance's greatest victories over the Empire. On the surface, the Falcon looks like a worn down junker. Beneath its hull, however, she packs many powerful secrets. Its owners have made "special modifications" on the freighter throughout the years, boosting its speed, shielding, and performance to impressive -- and downright illegal -- levels.

The Force Awakens Remote Control BB-8

This is not a model kit related entry nor I believe it will be the last. With every day getting us closer to Star Wars the Force Awakens, it is hard to resist to the latest droid addition to the Star Wars universe. I'm talking about the sought after BB-8 droid and this is remote controlled. As you can see from the picture of the box, this little fella is Target Exclusive offering here in

MPC Millenium Falcon WIP

Hey folks, here is a current side project I'm working on. Here is the Millenium Falcon from MPC. I'm adding some tiny pieces from my spare box. As some of you might know, the side walls on this kit are too thick and they will be replaced for stock styrene instead. As the story goes, the Millenium Falcon has been heavily modified by Captain Solo. This will be my humble version of the Millenium Falcon

SnapTite® Star Wars Millennium Falcon

The Millennium Falcon is one of the fastest, best-equipped ships in the "Star Wars" universe. While it doesn't look like much on the outside, the ship's hyperdrive technology allows the Falcon to fly twice as fast as an Imperial Star Cruiser (with a little help from Han Solo and Chewbacca's piloting). Heavy armor and an Imperial ship-seeking sensor bank help protect the Falcon from enemy damage, as do twin quad laser cannons and twin disruptors.

MPC/ERTL Star Wars Shuttle Tydirium

The Tydirium was a Sienar Fleet Systems Imperial Lambda-class shuttle, which operated as a courier and a transport in the Prefsbelt system. It was later present at Outpost 327 over Zhar, where it was captured by General Crix Madine of the Alliance to Restore the Republic. Madine hoped to use the shuttle and the clearance codes it carried to have a strike team infiltrate the Forest Moon of Endor, around which orbited a new Imperial battlestation, the second Death Star. The strike team would then, if all went as planned, deactivate the deflector shield protecting the still-under-construction Death Star. MPC

Revell Snap Tite Shuttle Tydirium

A heavily armoured transport and passenger shuttle of the Lambda class with three wings and seating for up to 20 soldiers. Shuttles of the Lambda class, due to their fire-power and hyperdrive, are preferred by the imperial officers, including the Emperor himself. The troops of Han Solo have used this ship, the Tydirium, in order to sneak past the imperial forces encircling the forest moon Endor. Shuttles of the Lambda class are designed to carry
