Meng Models – P-51 D Mustang

Meng Models announced a new model for WWII Aircraft enthusiast, the Well know P-51 D version in 1/48. But what the wuzz with this particular kit?

This kit will combine snap-tite or no glue mounting very similar as Bandai is doing with the Star wars line. The kit still will be a top of the line, and will require some glue alone the way, but will have a far more easier approach in the building experience as they stated in the post on Facebook. We have to see how its work and if they suceed on what they are selling. For now they unveil the following pictures of this upcoming kit.

New details like slide able canopies, separate cockpit panels, and less breakdown in parts to reduce the sanding work, are among the highlights on this kit. Day of release coming soon.

Now I'm back working with kits since 2010, and dealing with every type from Tanks to Scifi, and experimenting a lot with the paintings and weathering looking to achieve life-like models.
